Try this, maybe. Take an average user, and have them try to follow your instructions. See how it goes. I'm sure you and you associates are highly skilled network administrators, so when something doesn't go exactly like you expect you know where to go to fix the issue. For an average user, though, your instructions may only work for this EXACT router.

Hey buddy, so I've got a managed switch, and a Nighthawk RAX 43. My RAX43 is my pirmary router, and my switch comes off of that. After my switch, I want to setup two routers in access point mode, one for the other end of the house, and one for the garage/outside area. I had some issues using a non-managed switch when I setup the garage router in AP mode, where it almost like...knocked my pimary router out for some reason. Ideally what I'd like to do is setup both access points with the same SSIDs/Passwords so it's a seamless transition from one area to another. Is this possible/easily doable with my current setup? My other two routers are the AC1750 and the RAX10 respectively.

Can I connect this router to my office's Ethernet port on the wall? I need it as a Access Point because the wifi is terrible in my office.

No, this is not a plug and play device. This AP will require configuration on itself AND the switch it connects to which I am guessing you're not an admin who makes those changes.

My r7000 still enables DHCP in ap mode and bridge mode even if I turn it off in router mode. Using pfsense as dhcp. R7000 has latest firmware as of today. Any ideas how to disable dhcp. Thanks.
