I have been playing with wleds for a while now but I noticed a problem in LED preference that when I change the number of leds it doesn't update even after saving and turning power on off. Like initially I only use 100 leds but then I changed to 50 then the effects gets applied to 50 but rest 50 leds are still lit. And when I increase the no of leds to 150 then it doesn't work. you can plug the red and white wires directly from a 12V supply. and use another source for the controller, like the USB show here. or you can use a step down and use the same source to convert to 5v and use for the controller.
