How to setup Android Auto and Apple Car Play in the 2021 Ford Ranger

The screen in my ranger was not placed right and ended up having a pressure point cracking and turning the screen black. This video was SO HELPFUL because the screen still responds to touch. I was able to navigate the menu and connect my phone with a black screen, and I even got a screen shot of the climate control that you showed, thank you!

Oh man that's a weird issue.. but kind of awesome that this video was able to help you navigate through it! What year is yours? Try making a warranty claim?

There are quite a few that can be added - check out this handy list play.google.com/store/apps/editorial_collection/promotion_topic_3003388_androidauto_baselist?jsmode=du Having said that not all apps will work unless you enable them in the Android Auto Apps page. For certain apps - KZbin specifically you can play the audio over bluetooth as the KZbin app can't be played natively through the screen

Nope.. the Sync3 screen doesn't support wireless Android Auto or Apple CarPlay

The new IPhone 15 is problematic because it uses USB-C and the new cable won’t fit. 😢

Just need to grab a USB-c to USB-A type cable! Sucks that there’s another cable you have to grab but it’s an easy workaround
