Hey outlaw, so you know if a internet bridge device will work? I am looking at a "TP-Link N300 Wireless Wi-Fi Nano Travel Router with Range Extender/Access Point/Client/Bridge Modes (TL-WR802N)" and it seems to just plug into the wall and you have to connect it to your original router over wifi and then it allows me to plug in a Ethernet cable into that into my s9. Since my router is upstairs and don't want to run a cable down two flights of stairs, but don't know if it has to be directly plugged into the main router or not

That should work, i am actually going to be testing out some TP-Link AV200 for something similar i would like to put a antminer out in my garage, so that would be another option. Let me now how you make out with the repeater.

I would stay away from anything relating to tplink unless it was made in taiwan.

KingPB M are you saying it’s not getting a IP address? You could also try to scan with angry ip scanner

You'll need the Nov 2nd firmware update. My D3 crashed intermittently until I did the upgrade. Now it's fine. Sadly the payouts are VERY low for the price paid. Hoping that things will improve and the X11 algo. Last summer it was paying out big time. Amazing what a few months can do.

Thanks for the Post Mad Mining I had had a couple of Crashes I have had some issues downloading the firmware kept failing. I wish i had a D3 a couple of months ago if you converted that to BTC you would be sitting on a nice about of $$. Best of luck on the Mining!

It's a Interesting Question, right now Dash is showing top two on "What to Mine" if you think Dash is going to keep going up in price like it has in the last month then Yes. Brother, in the Video you list 'stratum+tcp://X11.usa.nicehash.com:3336#xnsub Where you list in the notes Miner General Configuration: pool 1 : stratum+tcp://sha256.usa.nicehash.com:3334#xnsub First do you write 'pool 1,2,3' before the address, secondly with a D3, are we writing sha256 or X11? You said you'd list that but didn't?

no you don't write pool 1,2,3 it will say it on the left of the window. if you have d3 your algorithm is x11

I know.. I was referring to the 3 addresses that were entered. In the video it said the the details would be put in the notes and the video is about settng up a D3 with Nicehash but the code isn't correct for a D3.

Any chance you’d offer advice on what pool you’d recommend for the D3 to mine the most profitable pool and if you recommend dropping funds to the nice hash wallet or an external wallet and why? Thanks!! One last thing the three addresses only kick in if the first address is down correct? So you have one miner in the D3 not 3. I wasn’t sure if the separate cards registered as separate miners (sorry for a stupid newbie questions)

You are correct incase of a DDOS attack that is what the backup pools are for. you can only mine to one pool at a time. Best of luck on your mining!

Thanks man. I just fired mine up and it's been running at 81c for the last 30min or so. Do you recommend I shut it off until I can put some proper cooling/venting in place? 81c is way too high right?

Azan Jacobs you could downclock or lower the MHz manually to like 450mhz that should lower the temp until you can get better cooling

wally123ish try to down clock the chip try to go down to like 400 MHz and then go up 25 MHz until you start getting errors and then go back down again. They also have a 3rd party firmware which has some more advanced features
