Thank you. New subscriber here as well. This was a very helpful video. However, I got lost at the very end. How do I know when my file is ready and where do I find it? I saw you click 'Open', but I thought that was to start a new project and that the audio was still lingering from the old project. Could you please clarify?

Very glad to hear and thank you ! :) Depending on the file size, it will generaly be very quick that you don't even see a loading screen. The project file itself is up to you to decide where you want it to be saved. Normaly you also have a folder in your documents simply called "Audacity" (which should be created by audacity itself if I remember correctly) where you can find the mp3, wav or whatever other media file you saved it as should be. This can be seen in the export audio at the end of the video. Let me know if that answers your question !
