Hi Arvind. In this case, you just need to join your database server to AD domain and instead of using a local account, create an AD user and add it to sql users.

I need to create a data gateway to make the person who works on-prem to be able to make reports from Azure databricks, how should it be, and what resources should be deployed?

Hi, great video but I'm having issues validating my SQL Server credentials. The AD profile the SQL server is using is linked to my domain admin account, does it need to be a local user profile? Edit; created a local sql server profile and used that, got it working. Brilliant tutorial, thanks!

Can I use Azure Relay to achieve the same ? Azure Relay is much simpler (at least on-paper !)
