Subbed! Thank you. Question, what are the rubber pads on the bottom of the 8Ah, visible @9:01?

Thanks for subscribing, I greatly appreciate it! When Bosch changed the label on the CORE 8ah battery from the older Profactor to the new Ampshare label they also changed the bottom slightly. Those 4 raised edges on the bottom are actually plastic and are built into the bottom of the case. I'm guessing they were added for extra cooling to slightly raise the battery but I'm not 100% sure.

Do i need a module per tool or can i remove and use same in another tool without looseing the setting on the prevous tool or does it need the module to be in all the time..

You can use 1 module for multiple tools (only 1 tool connected at a time). After you adjust the setting on the app and it transferred to the tool, the tool doesn't require the module to be installed to keep the settings. Not sure if you are looking into a newer tool or use existing with the optional bluetooh module...however on some of Boschs newer connected tools they do NOT require this additional module as they have a built-in module that connects to the app automatically. Tools that say Connected Rdy (amzn.to/3VnoRkv) require the module and the new ones that say Connected (amzn.to/48YSLyP) have it built it. Hope this helps.

@@TeamDIYNow thanks very much glad to hear the setting will be saved. So in theory i only need one module to swap between my tools to set them up how i like as once set i wont be changeing them that often anyway. I only really want the bluetooth for the charger mainly so i can look after the batterys. Thanks for the info.

Hi is there option to switch bluetooth complitly in tools or bosch radio.
@TeamDIYNow4 ай бұрын
On the radio, it will not broadcast bluetooth if the source is not on bluetooth. When its on AM/FM or AUX, the bluetooth will not broadcast/connect to any devices. On the tools, if you get a connected tool (bluetooth built in) I dont believe there is a way to turn off the bluetooth. For connected ready tools that require you to purchase the optional bluetooth module...you can turn off by not installing the module.
