I have a rm1000x psu and just bought the new iCUE LINK TITAN 360 RX RGB AIO Liquid CPU Cooler and I don’t know where to plug the 6 pin into as they do not fit directly into the power supply

If you have an AIO, that tiny cable tells the hub the temperature of your CPU so your pump and AIO fans will react appropriately. It connects to the CPU fan connection.

Hello first time pc builder here. Do I need to enable the pump in bio’s?? I saw there was an option for me under cpu_fan2 to switch it from fan to pump. It has me confused lol…would love some help

Hi, place it definitely on the pump, because then the BIOS realizes it isn't a fan and that is normal to spin at higher RPMs. Makes the curve more suitable in BIOS for the rotation as well.

A huh can connect 14 fans, only 7 per cable though. Theres 2 outputs for said cables on the hub

Can you change the rpms of the fans (like all other standard pwm fans) to follow your cpu/vrm temps instead of just generic speed profiles?

I use the H150i lcd 360mm in a corsair 5000x case. I have 10 fans. I bought 2 refurb triples, 1 pump + rad, and a single 120mm for rear exhaust. I have the rad exhausting at top, the rear case fan uses the shorty cable to connect to the rad fans. The two triples, I have those connected at the top with a shorty cable. I then use another shorty to connect to the fans on the rad to the hub controller on the rad. I then take two longs and connect them from the rad hub to the central hub, and the other long cable from the bottom of the triple fan on the side to the central hub. On my Asus crosshair 8 wifi I use the middle cpu fan pin for the lead wire for the pump. I have one pcie cable connected to the power pin and the usb connected to usb header.

This to me was an absolute necessary purchase. Prior to this I had 10 QL120 fans and each came with its own led for rgb and fan. It required me to use a 360mm with a commander core and a 2nd hub with a lighting node. Cable management in that case was a nightmare. I can rest easy knowing the next time I have to open that case for any reason I don't have stuff it like a Thanksgiving turkey.

​@@PCCrazyDariomeans, 1000W is enough? I can't go for Seasonic as they don't do business in India. A lot of brands like Seasonic, EVGA, Superflower, and a lot of brands don't do any business in India. I think Corsair RM 1000e or Cooler Master MWE 1250 will be good options too

@@DeathStriker88 Definitely then Corsiar RM1000 should do the trick. yeah, 1000W will be enough since I used 1000W for 7900X3D and RX 7900 XT and RTX 4080 (separated GPUs in different builds of course).

The cable is too short. Way too short. Making the whole system useless. We have to buy at least 2-4 iCUE LINK HUB for an eATX and even a default ATX case. So the fact that one HUB can manage 14 fans doesn't matter. At the end, because of the cable being way too short and that no extension can be bought, one HUB can only manage 3 fans max. Maybe with a really really short case you may be able to put more than 3 fans. But even there, It is highly suspicious that it is even possible. From the TOP of the case to the FRONT or even the BACK, the short cable will never be able to reach one fan to another. And finally, because this HUB system uses one of the USB plug from the motherboard, it will never be possible to get enough of those to use more than 2x HUB system. Because of all of this, it is smarter and wayyy less expansive to buy normal fans with long cables; so without this useless HUB system.

I do not recommend the Corsair QX 120 fans, they are very loud. The only advantage is that they are easy to install

For your 4080 by a Corsair 12V H-PWR after market cable and free up all you pcie connectors.

@@merica7139 In that situation you have two choices, by a second power supply if your case supports dual power supplies (like the O11 dynamic range) , but you would only need a 350w cheap ass psu to run icue link, or if not, then you buy a bigger power supply that has more than 3 pcie connectors.
