Holy jesus, converting from a ps4 controller to twin sticks, the first time out, is like that game where you rub your belly and tap your head at the same time Its like learning sign language with your feet, in socks 😂 I suppose it gets easier with practice? I ran a 1970's jcb3c2 years ago, and i can never remember being this bad 🤦‍♂️😂 I even stood on the floor behind the seat, and operated the backhoe whilst another friend was operating the front bucket and going through the gear when he got it stuck, and i remember doing real well I tried using a 360 excavator on sim and im sh!t at it 😂 i need a strong coffee and lots of practice 🤦‍♂️😂

Very good tutorial, veery well explained and shown. I got most of the bindings set per yours, but for some reason i cant seem to bind "Front loaders" they wont raise hydloic arms or the bucket, i have dbl sticks set up, everything binds fin to them all the Arms, boom and teles work fine but not on fron loaders, mouse works fine for the arm and bucket but not my joysticks, i know its the hitch binds right? Edit: tried the G keys also but nothing.

Your video is great but I'm having trouble with the second claw tool on the tree limber machine. I have the z mod and everything else seems to work but can't get the second claw to clamp down. Any help would be great. Thanks FDR!

Hey FDR, thank you for the great mod's. Everything is working nice and i have a lot of fun cutting trees. But one function is gone with this update or I don't find them any more... :-( "Plow function / make new fields with the skidder(blade) or the cat D6" I love to make new paths for my machines and trucks. Together with the mod that you can get stuck in the mudd / field make it's even more realistic. Please make this parts of the machines functional again. Also the machines in the video make track damage to the ground. I'll like that. Will that work in the next patch? And were do i get the claw from the Tigercat? Thank you! Greetings from Germany.

yes there is no more plow function, I am working on adding "pushing of woodchips" to the blades but the plowing won't be returning, it unfortunately causes a bunch of issues especially in multiplayer that I am not able to correct.

Any chance we'll get a ScorpionKing or something like it back? I like the view from inside its cockpit when forwarding. Also on controller, the processors don't seem to work correctly, for some reason it's trying to run the rollers when I open and close the claws (roller bind is not set to anything)

if your using the same button it won't work if the machine is using both commands binded, try a different button ;)

The joystick movements are what they need to be. He deleted the other videos he had that showed what control group is what In the giants " Action " group . It's now a pain for any other machines, so he wants us to use his.

no these are completely separate of ingame stuff, you can set those separately to whatever you'd like

Hey FDR :) Greetings all the way from Denmark. I´m playing with both dual joysticks and a ps4 controller. Just downloaded alle your mods again and followed your new guide. But now I can´t open and close the grabble on the skidder and there is no longer a choice to allow to create filds/plow with the dozer.. How do I fix that ? Thank you for great mods. And a lot of great videos here on youtube :)

The JD and CAT skidder have been corrected, both could not open grapples due to issue with wrongly named control action. Manual feed rollers on the processors are now working, apparently I am not able to have both manually controlled rollers and automatically connected to the claw so the auto feed version has been disabled, you will be able to set the manual feed forward and backward and have them work. If you have already downloaded the update, simply redownload and replace your current mods to have the updated corrected versions thanks!

Thats a problem with the game, usually third party programs are used to fix this.

You may be able to edit a file to get it to work if you know anything about lua file editing.

Or you can use Nvidia control panel if you have Nvidia card to span the display across 3 screens.

@@nighthunter5205 it will make all 3 displays work as 1 wide-screen. When in the game try to set the resolution to one that matches the resolution of the 3 screens combined if it is an option. You may have to edit the config file and change the resolution and fov to get it just right. I did that with fs17 but it was so long ago i can not remember exactly what i did. I can not find any videos about how to do it though.

That sounds like maybe the joystick (or game) is detecting the deadzone wrong

Usually when that happens, the view is set to the wrong axis usually a slider axis. It is annoying. I Usually just go through deleting all the preset gamepad settings and set them to what i want.

Usually, logging is cpu intensive not gpu intensive. If you dont have a higher power cpu you will loose a lot of fps .
