If you had to choose between HDMI or VGA, always choose HDMI first, because VGA is obsolete and there is no reason to use it in this day and age. Maybe only use it if your device requires it or maybe testing but for installation, HDMI is the way to go.

Yes, you can, the USB to VGA adapter or USB to HDMI adapter all can support USB 2.0

If your third Monitor got the HDMI port. then you can use USB to HDMI Adapter.

Thank you, your video confirmed I was not crazy in believing this should work. My computer looks just like yours but my vga adapter was not working as before. Fortunately, I saved the box. My j5create does require a driver update. Once downloaded, I now can display different items and all monitors independently. The splitter that I purchased from Amazon (hdmi to vga & hmdi) supports only same content on 2 monitors then laptop, making 1 monitor useless. Thanks much!

Yes SPLITTER will display same content. unless you add another USB TO HDMI Converter adapter.

I have a Desktop with 3 VGA monitors. I have got 2 monitors set up ok. For the 3rd monitor I bought a USB/VGA adapter, plugged it into Desktop, plugged 3rd monitor on. Desktop found the 3rd monitor, but it made my wireless speaker stop working for some reason and did not create the 3rd Box in Display settings. Not sure where to do from here ....

Hi Can explain this , I've two separate systems and monitors but, actually what I need, When I work System "A" the display should come "A" Monitor and Monitor "C" and the same When I work system B, the display should come "B" and "C Monitor also.
