Thanks, I was factory resetting an old google mini. That kept disconnecting from the internet. I hope that's fixed it or its a new one.

Can it play music through the speaker if you are away from home or does it need your phone or other device to pick up the music from KZbin?

You can literally change the speed of the video and pausing is also an option
