Hey Jerry - So you can upload music onto KZbin Music and then you can play your music through there. It's not a perfect service just yet, but it works well enough. Playing music directly from a PC though, is not possible.

Just have Google home app on your phone and Google assistant. Then be logged into the same Google account on both your phone and on the mini. Then ask for directions and it should try to send it to your phone. If it doesn't, check notification settings

So, carrier frequency has to be 2.4 GHz (not sure if 5Ghz works for mini but I think so). Also, I’d look at your security protocols and make sure they match up with Google’s. You’ll need to ask them specifically for the list of ones that work. Try support.google.com and start a chat.

There it is! Yeah, so WiFi in places like that do usually have restrictions that stop something like the GH Series from getting connected. Find the person who manages that network and see if they’ll help you!

Hi there, I have 2 google mini and I had set them up thanks to your video. Then along the way, I found a "link devices" and did that but now I don't want them linked anymore. Hi Anita - I would try a factory reset on your mini. I believe you'll find a tiny little button on the bottom to hold while it's plugged in. Hold it till you notice the whole thing reboot and you should have a bit more success.

That's very odd that it tells you to try from another device. It might be not connected to your WiFi. If you can't do anything else, then that's likely the case. Maybe try unplugging it and re-plugging it back in or moving it somewhere where you feel your WiFi is better.

Make sure Bluetooth is on on your phone. If you can't see it still, maybe try moving the Google home during setup to be closer to your router

Google Home Mini has a reset button that's tiny on the bottom. Hold it while plugged in. Nest Mini is different and you'll have to do a quick search on that. I'm gonna be sarcastic now. No, a Google Home cannot physically pick up your wife! 🤣🤣

Those are two totally separate things, so nope! Google Home Mini doesn't require any subscription to play music. Amazon Echo Dot doesn't anymore either, but both offer free music services that include ads if you don't subscribe. So if you want ad free and total music control, you have to get a subscription for about $10 per month to a music service.

Hi Julie - make sure whatever you're using has bluetooth turned on, and then stand about 6 feet away from everything. If your WiFi signal is good where you are, you may have interference from another device. Things...like microwaves or other WiFi devices!

With the Google Assistant, yep. :) Lots of people prefer to not have to pull their phone out though, so that's where the use case comes in.

If it's not turning on at all, make sure you're powering it with the adapter given by Google. Otherwise, if it's plain old not turning on...talk to support.google.com

Hi. Need some help, I am. Trying to setup this device. But during the process I an able to search the device and also able. To hear the sound from the Google home mine. But immediately after that when I go for selecting the WiFi network, I select the name of the WiFi and post that it says "could not communicate with your Google home mini" and everything ends there itself. Could anyone plz help..
