Got a question I have a hacked Nintendo switch with hekate and will later upgrade to atmosphere! 1) Should I get a retail copy of Mario kart 8 deluxe to play online, as long as it's not a "pirated version" i should still be safe right, the other "reasons people get banned" i can also easily follow! 2) Silly question but does this mean that everyone who has a hacked switch that likes to play online, did they also get nintendo online membership too? Seems risky but I was wondering if you still needed to online membership for a hacked switch? Hope my questions can be answered!

You can't get banned in LAN, but you can get banned if said LAN is connected to the internet.

If you don't use certain mods online and just play a legit mk8 copy it should be fine. Some texture mods are ok but I haven't risked it. For mk8 I'd suggest just booting as normal instead of going through atmosphere. And for the online subscription you just do it again by booting normally. If you boot normally as long as you haven't screwed up on emunand or sysnand through cfw, it's as if it's a stock switch as far as they're concerned. Just play legally obtained games online booted normally or do your hacking stuff on emunand and you're fairly safe. I personally don't boot into stock sysnand through atmosphere ever and don't forsee myself doing it any time soon. You should be alright but do some more research and don't take what I say to be gospel because I'm speaking mostly from personal experience / advice I've gotten. I'm certainly no expert
