Hey, i was just trying to get my friend to be able to use commands on my essential multiplayer world, and i've never done this before and it felt a bit to complicated and i don't know how to access the server files

I couldn't get it to work either, but I had a spelling error. I kept putting "editer" instead of "editor" for some reason. It took someone pointing it out for me to realize.
