How to setup Steam games in Hyperspin - Full guide

Hello Daniel. Thank you so much for your videos. I would like to make a few comments about UCR. The disadvantages of UCR is that it does not turn off the keyboard keys during use and requires VJOY enabled and your system constantly sees two connected gamepads (This problem can be solved with the devcon program and turn on VJOY only before starting the game). For an arcade machine, in my opinion, the best program for emulating an xbox gamepad is Keyboard 2 Xinput. Gamepads are visible in the system only when the program is turned on. You can configure 2 and 4 controllers. And most importantly, it blocks keyboard button presses. I just wrote scripts to turn the gamepad on and off when I needed it and put them in streamdeck. The program works perfectly.

When showing the desktop can you show your extensions so we can always see which one is which and what format? 3. You always make me think if it would be better to jump off launchbox to hyperspin. Yes I have much experience with Big Box / Launchbox. I know it is easier to set-up but... Look at Hyperspin...that is next level in my opinion!

Have you tried using UCR on Street Fighter V Arcade, because when using the UCR2 Player it doesn't seem to work on it, and both characters react based on me hitting Player 1 controls. not sure if you have looked into this game

Hi, just a quick question ? Why not using UCR all the time when you start your arcade cabinet rather using it only for steam games ? Is there another benefit somewhere in doing it like you do? Thank u.

Hi Daniel thanks for sharing this!!! I’ve just downloaded and installed my first steam game. Got an error message after I pressed the launch rocket logo. It says error waiting for window, please check you have correct version emulator installed for this module and have it working outside your front end first. Also turn off fade to see the problem. Any ideas?

When I start the game through hyperspin I get an error message saying error getting the process ID. Please try setting a fade title instead.

It works with all games! It is just Xbox PS controller 'emulation software' cool stuff!

Actually, this appears to be the best way. I tried to setup Pinball FX3 to run the tables directly via command line, but Steam keeps interrupting with a confirmation box "Allow game launch?" that I can't seem to get around or disable.

Hello! Finally, everything is quick, concise and to the point;) As a standard, I have a few Questions: 1. How did you make Hyper Marquee that a photo is displayed + information about components ? 2. This Ucr program seems great (maybe better than joy 2key) The question in question works with ipac with other encoders,as you know, ipac now has the ability to change the profile from the keyboard to the pad, etc. by holding a specific shortcut, but unfortunately it is not possible to change, so maybe this program will help me? - Does this change interfere with the xbox360, ps3,4 pads, so let's say that I run tekken as in a video and play on an arcade panel or, for example, my friend would like to play on a pad and I on a panel or I would like to sit comfortably and play on a pad or not with this problem (I understand that it is not possible to play on the panel and pad at the same time)? - I understand that this program can easily replace joy 2key, and if not, will it not conflict with joy2key? 3. You know how to make the main menu theme for Hs to show how many games there are in a given Wheels (counter) + rating stars in games in wheels. Have you had a problem with the so-called Hyper HQ? 4. After starting the program, you can choose whether Hyperspin should start every time in the Wheels you set or use last system and for me it does not work anymore, despite marking the use last system bird and starting Hs Hs runs on a different but the same wheels each time even though I set e.g. Arcade, I entered ini and everything is ok + use last system to false but after entering HQ the bird is marked hmm did you have a similar problem? I do everything myself from scratch and for a while now I have this problem after adding a few wheels, I tried to remove the wheels I created but it doesn't help; (
