No that’s what we should use in canisters. Ceramic rings are inefficient. Use lava rock or pumice stones as a budget one. If you have budget then you can use matrix, biorio etc.,,

Hi, Very recently I bought Sunsun HW 304-B canister filter. I found the UV light is not working continuously and always blinking from the beginning. Is this normal or it has to lighting continuously without blinking.

Go to that shop from which you buy say them UV light not working they will give you an extra light

You can directly pump it in from the Aquarium by pressing the Top blue pressure button or fill it before closing the lid!

You did it ass backwards. The sponge goes at the bottom. The water enters the hole and rises through the filter pad and media.

By what means your aquarium looks good? Look at it. So over crowding. It is not pleasing to look at it for even few seconds.

I've done the mistake of crowding the tank, they were separated into 3 tanks, TY
