Hello mate I have a 2018 420i and yesterday it wouldn’t let me change my music on my phone or on the screen, would you know why this is? Bmw done a software update over the phone and that hasn’t solved the problem either

I configured the car exactly how I like it then initiated the app as shown in the video. When I set-up my profile, all of my radio presets previously set as guest (default) were lost. I don't really see the benefit of profile (I don't have multiple BMW's) so I went back to guest.

I use my 2019 M550i for turo. Today I tried to get a 360 camera view of the car and it said that it was unable to process due to someone else trying to connect to the app. How do I restrict other people from accessing MyBmw and connect ?

Do you know if BMW is having problems with the new MyBMW App? I’ve been using the old app successfully. Now the new app comes and it tells me to enable cookies when they are. So it won’t work and BMW will be deactivating the old app on 6/30/21.

Hi Michael. We are not aware of any current issues with the new MyBMW App, however, it is recommended to delete and stop using the old app for full functionality. With the new app, please delete this and re-download the app to see if this improves. If not, please call our team at BMW on 0800 325 6000. Thanks

If your car uses 3g network, you will never see your apps again. I have a same issue.

@@compasstrans It is almost like if you have an old phone and you get a new car, you probably will run into issue because the phone is behind curve and no longer supported. So they forcing you to buy a newer phone or the tech in the car won't work to it's full capacity.

There's a SIM card in your car that communicates - its also how the emergency call button in the headlining works

@@valon3182 I have sent a message to bmw support they informed me on most cars after 3 years you have to update/buy to get further access to it but instead what I am doing is just sending them my V5c second and third page and they said that he will update it for me I will give you further information on how it goes when they do it

Same, I have an BMW X5 and I run into the same issue, and I feel like for 77k price point I purchased this SUV for this should be working. When my SUV arrived at the dealership and I took delivery they was trying their best to avoid answering my question about the app because they was stomped and couldn't figure out why this app isn't working. If I do buy another vehicle I definetly won't deal with BMW again, here is looking at you AUDI.

Hi, I see ur issue, have you managed to connect ur imported vehicle to connected drive?? I have the simillar issue, I have imported 530e from Japan to New zealand and can not get this vehicle added in my BMW connected app, looking for help...

@@dharminrana1181 no still haven't BMW Belgium have told me that it's a delicate operation to replace the 4g unit and that it costst way too much so they don't do that kind of operation on their cars. Wich is a huge let down since we pay zo much money for these cars that they have to have us covered for these kind of scenarios. But any way I'll keep you posted if any developments come along.
