This is assuming you have a green light on the ripsaw but make sure the drivers are installed and razer synapse then make sure the USB from the ripsaw is connected to a powered port on the streaming PC. Restart your computer and OBS.

Did you try setting a custom resolution in the 'configure' section for the ripsaw. Or properties for the video capture device? Try 1920x1080 and then try lower ones. Also try FPS of 30 and then try 59 then 60 then 60.002.

1. I'm no longer a fan of the Razer capture cards. If you can, get elgato. They are more expensive but they just work. 2. I'm not sure I understand your question correctly, are you recording PC games? If you are recording PC games, some people do have a two PC setup which for me is ideal. But if you have newer hardware, recording while you play is usually fine

So I’ve followed every step. I’m running OBS/PS4/Razer Capture Card. I figured the video portion of the streaming out, but I cannot get game audio to come through the stream. Webcam and game footage come through clear as day. Is there a setting I’m missing when setup the sources? I have the Razer source and the Webcam but no audio. Does another source need to be added for audio? Is it desktop audio that needs to be adjusted? I’m so lost.

I end up getting a message saying "No signal. Check if: 1. Cables are properly and securely connected. 2. Input source device is on." However, the cords are plugged in the places they need to be put into, and I have tried moving them around, still nothing. Connect HDMI from gaming PC to input of ripsaw. Connect HDMI from ripsaw output to monitor. Connect ripsaw USB to second PC you want to stream on. Audio and mic is tricky. I have my headphones connected to my gaming PC then an 3.5mm aux cord from the line out of my gaming PC to the headphone in on my streaming PC. My mic is connected to a splitter and is connected to my gaming PC and my streaming PC. Then dive into the OBS settings.

Benjamin Mensah yes. You have to add a source and then video capture device, then after that select your webcam and change the resolution to get a smaller or bigger size. You can also use edit scene to change the size. By the way I am also from Ghana, and my mom has the same last name as you.

+Eduardo Milian I'm assuming you are talking about the latency between the console and the recording pc? Its really really fast. So the delay is minimal. On Razer's website they say "Near zero latency" and it is close, but just not close enough to play FPS live. If you are talking about between the Console>Ripsaw>TV it has ZERO delay.

Hey Razky, you have to download Razer Synapse software and update if there is any software update. It will automatically change to Green light. If it doesnt means you have to check your pc spec ... might not compatible

Jamie Symonds Not at all man. Depending on your GPU(video card) All you need to do is download obs or xsplit and stream. Capture cards, main purpose at least, is for streaming over consoles.

Kaulder you're only partially correct. Jamie streaming or recording on the PC you're gaming on adds a lot of load on the GPU and CPU and is only optimal with serious hardware. I bought this video capture device for PC gaming and have the HDMI video from my gaming PC to my monitors and on a second PC have the USB connection for the ripsaw. It takes some thinking to get the audio and mic squared away but it completely eliminated the additional load on the PC I'm gaming on and records/streams much smoother since the entire load is on a freed up PC.

Yes. OBS natively has monitor capture. Adding the Ripsaw Windows will treat it like another monitor is connected.

I got Ripsaw today. And when I'm using OBS my framerate drops from 60fps to 30-40fps even when I don't hit record button. As soon as i close OBS or i delete Ripsaw from video source devices my game runs normal. Can someone help me? I need some help with mine, I've been having major issues with the ripsaw, I've been told it's the best and brand new, I have everything plugged in, I got the programs, I can record the screen kinda, but I have no sound after I finish the recording. I need some help pls!!! or I'm just gonna get the elgato. I honestly never knew about the ripsaw until a guy at best buy told me it was better than elgato, it's only better for streaming and it records PS3 games and the elgato 60 can't. I've been working at getting this thing working for around 2 days, and I don't know if I misunderstand what's going on or if this thing is super buggered up.

+UltraAssassin25 I would just return it and get the elgato HD60S. Much easier to setup. Unless of course you need to capture PS3. The hd60 "S" is usb 3 and has the same streaming benefits. If you want to keep the ripsaw, you may want to contact Razer support for any issues you have. With the sound issue, some people are having better luck using obs classic instead of obs studio

i havent really liked the ripsaw razer ever since i was setting it up. I did an unboxing for it, and i figured it was going to be easy which people tell me it is but i obviously find it the most difficult thing to do. I had the OBS Classic then i was told to try the studio cause it seemed better so i did soooooo..... i guess i probably get the elgato then. I just hope its not gonna be complex to setup.

In the video capture card properties you can go to configure. Make sure the audio is coming from your HDMI like your Xbox outputs to. If you're using OBS you can 'Edit Scene' and resize everything. Make sure your Ripsaw is as big as the OBS canvas.

I already successfully installed everything on 1 of my pcs, now I wanted to install it on my laptop and synapse just doesn't do shit for me... im getting really tired of this now is there anyone who can help me? I installed synapse with my ripsaw plugged in.

+Crimson Coug22 if the laptop is top of the line, yes. But I would not recommend it. This program is very CPU intensive. My recommendation is a decent desktop pc.

It's a PS4. It works fine on OBS classic when I was playing the last of us remastered. But on OBS studio I get the no signal message, even after I mess around with the resolution and other settings

+iamjewtastic +tommytelstar That sucks. and its really weird. Its worked for me for every device that I have tried to record. Xbox one, pc, macbook, and my raspberry pi. I don't have a PS4 or else I would test that. Sorry!

For me it was making sure Razer Synapse was running then plugging the HMDI from my PC to Input then plugging in USB (powered port on laptop) then resetting my computer like that.

I tried elsewhere, maybe here, someone, something, will help :F So I have OBS Studio, PS4Pro and Razer Ripsaw, the ripsaw works fine with the console and the monitor, but it won't work with OBS, meaning I have a black screen. It won't change when I change resolution, refresh rate, nothing. I once made the menu of the console appeared in OBS, but it was frozen. Now I have "No Signal" alert, even though everything is plugged in correctly. In OBS Classic it's the same. Any ideas? D: Will pay with cookies.
