Watching videos on this to make sure it is not junk compared to what was already on the market, Paul I think you missed a very important selling point, the fact it has 4K passthrough so you can Game at 1440p or 4k and stream without dropping your resolution to 1080p.

I'm looking for a solution where I can play my PS4 on my iMac display with minimal input lag. There are very mixed reviews regarding this product. Can you possibly recommend a device which can be used for playing? Unfortunately my version of iMac doesn't allow any video input.

Hey I know this is quite an old video but I got a question. I have a 2018 Razer Blade 15 model and I've been trying to get the card to work at least half decently with any of the games I've been trying to record/stream. Every time i set this thing up im getting sub-40 frames on all my games, and honestly they feel unplayable since Im so used to the playing say valorant at like 200+ fps. What should I do? I've been recording through stream labs obs and have the razer capture card configured on that if it helpsto say so

Hey, I bought this product... I plug USB 3.0 from device to my Computer and start my OBS.. " No Signal".... I try to additionally plug HDML to my monitor screen. .. " No Signal" ... I unplugged everything.. reinstall Razer synapse and reinstall the device..... 3rd try... Get red screen instead.... Bad experience with this in my first try.... Or did I do something wrong ??

Depends on the definition of good. You should be able to do them both on one pc, albeit the quality of the stream is worse.

Just use Game Capture when adding a source to OBS Studio, no need to use a capture card if you play on pc, capture cards are more useful for consoles more than anything.

I might eventually have to get one of these to replace my old Elgato, but overall I never really had issues. Problem with the newer Elgato is it doesnt work with older consoles that don't use HDMI which is a shame, but the fact this supports all consoles new and old for most part, means this would be worth getting. For me at least.

Jay Sachs so that's what i was curious if it would take some load off my pc. I can stream just fine at 1080p 60fps but there's moments where i can feel it and there will be slight lag, i'm debating on upgrading my card so wondering if i should put the $$ into that or one of these.

+Get Rikt I think Hauppauge makes Mac compatible cards, I have an HD PVR Rocket and while it only does 1080p30, this is fine for capturing faces or consoles which are capped at about 30 anyways, or relegated to 720p which the Rocket happily captures at 60fps.
