Aqeel, Do you mind testing this lab (on AWS) before i offer free access to it for some of my subscribers? A lot of people would like to try it and i am willing to let them test it (and the machine gets reset after their session).
Thank you all for the positive feedback and likes. I will be making more videos based on this lab. Subscribe to get notified when i upload new videos.

Thank you so much for this video ! This helped a lot in setting up my home lab ! There are two things that I have added more in my lab: one is Windows 2008 Server Active Directory Domain Controller (AD-DC) (to learn about group policy and applying security setting through it) in internal network and second is, I added one more interface to pFsense for DMZ network, where I will be hosting Web and FTP server. I am looking forward to see your more videos in this home lab series to get more information regarding hacking through Kali and monitoring it with security onion. Again, thanks a lot !!

Outstanding tutorial! Great Work! Keep these coming for all of us wanting to learn more about infosec and creating our own cyberrange. :)
Great write-up on this! I had just setup my lab and stumbled across your video, this has provided me with some additional tips for my own lab. Very clear instructions, keep up the great work!!!
I have been looking for something like this. Even my LinkedIn class on Kali Linux was not this very explanatory in regards to the Network topology or diagram used. This is very visual and you see what you are trying to achieve. Thanks I just stumbled onto you video. Of course I have subscribed. It's that great.

Hey, i followed your earlier videos and purchased a used dell server to setup a bare metal esxi host which i am accessing via vmware web client. However i noticed that in your future videos especially when it comes to configuring the LAN & WAN vlans, you switched from demonstrating on your baremetal to using virtualbox which has made it hard to follow. I don't see options in the vmware webclient like the network mgmt screen you have at 10:09 of your video where you are setting "bridge" & "host only" modes for the network interface. How do those of us that followed your bare metal recommendations earlier follow your series? Pls explain how to set that up

I followed the setup and got everything to work just as you described in your video. However, the display is all off on everything. You mentioned that you had another video to discuss the display issues, but I was unable to locate that video. Would you mind providing the link to how you got the displays to adjust properly? I have installed the guest additions, but it is not working as it should. Also, I noticed you increased the specs on the Security Onion VM. Mine works, but it was sluggish. I am going to try with the specs that you have. 6 processors and 9660 Base Memory. I can’t get full screen with the Security Onion VM.

Sal Man it depends on what your interests are . There are a few paths in cyber security and as hard as it sounds , you kinda have to spend time trying to figure out which area. Interest you. Create a lab, follow some of my tutorials and other free guides online. Most people start as analysts. Pluralsight has a good course on that . Try hackthebox if you like penetrating . I have videos of me doing it that you can follow on this channel.
