You don’t need the neckline wire if you are using a skin mesh . it’s like you replacing what you cut out to form the v neckline with a mesh but you still get the illusion of the v plunged neckline because the mesh is transparent but you still need to contour the center front

Because this is a deep plunging neckline that goes down beyond the bust point level, the neckline wire is use to stabilise the neckline . it reinforces it and prevents it from crumbling especially due to the fact that there is no yoke to hold it up in place Without the neckline wire it will gap even after contouring the Center front . Hope you understand?

so after drawing out CF contour dart which is ¾ wide, measure from the neckline depth At center front, “mine is 1½” below under bust line” to the first dart leg,jump the dart and continue measuring from the third dart leg to 1³/₈” just above the third dart leg which gave me 6” Or measure from the neckline depth to just where the neckline starts curving out towards the shoulder and subtract the contour dart width of ¾”
