A friend of mine is in hospice. I can make these for her 5 kids (in their 20s) with some of her favorite verses. Bless them! That's still too young to lose your mom.

That sounds like a lovely thing to do for them😊

If you reduce your stitch length by 1/2 to 1, it makes controlling the curve sewing easier. On regular fabric, if I'm sewing at 2 to 2.5 for straight sewing, I go down to about 1.5 to 1 on any curves. I take it extra small because I like tight stitches. Of course, it depends on the thickness of your fabric, and thickness of it doubled. I always keep any batting, stabilizer, or interfacing OUT of my seam allowances. It just adds unnecessary bulk. IMO

Thank you for the tips. I no longer use tiny stitches as they're too difficult to unpick🙂

I've got nothing but time. This is a great little pouch for a tote bag, or with school supplies, work bag. I frequently used D-rings, O-rings and lobster clasps. I gauge by how heavy things may be. Inside my totes, I put O-rings, then most anything can be attached. My daughter had a lot of friends over in highschool and sold a lot of my stuff at college. During the holidays and birthdays, she dives head first into my sewing bins, and poaches my finished projects. She gives them away for gifts. My ex-husband and his wife love my stuff, as well as her grandmother and step grandma! I get questions about "do you know how to do this", "have you seen this on KZbin", and "if I brought over a pile of jeans, could you sew a bunch of toddler aprons". I did...and made 2 dozen adjustable toddler aprons for her pre-school. The kids and other teachers love them. My ex-husband's wife is nicknamed MomToo. Anyway, a new teacher saw her aprons. I got a text... I made a dozen more as she provided the jeans and thread! My contribution to Early Childhood Education ❤😊 They both send me pictures. My two daughters have a boy each, 2 1/2 and 3ish. I made them aprons as well, and they wear them for everything. Apparently, they double as super hero capes as well 😂. I could send you the instructions if you would like to try a fun, 10 minute project. ❤😊

It could also be used as a gift card holder - could use Christmas or birthday fabrics.

It sure could Lucy🙂

I think this is good for the really bright, even gaudy fabrics, especially for spring and summer.

Thank you for sharing!! I’ve seen videos where the card slots are made by folding a long piece of fabric back and forth. I like this method of precutting the card slots…so much easier and a great use of scraps!

Thanks Pam. I've done those before too. This one was a little easier😁

Love it, and for security, you can put hygiene products in some ght, and hide cards beneath.😉 A friend did that in a drawer at work, and none of her papers were ever disturbed!

Great video! I made the wristlet wallet from your video some time ago and she uses it daily with a crossbody strap. She mentioned that she doesn't have enough card slots (even though there are 6🤦♀️) and I have leftover outer fabric from that project so I think I'll make this for her to hang on that bag. Loved seeing Coco, too! Hugs from Nevada, Cathy❤
