Good morning Debbie. Did this with the holiday gift bag tutorial, with buttonholes as not to hide the pattern. First time trying buttonholes and came out good. Thanks for being a great teacher and enjoy your day off.

Thank you very much Miss Debbie. About to make the bag. Any one, is the slash 24 inches in total length or 48 inches in total length? Thank you ladies for a speedy response.
@gracecleverdon99623 жыл бұрын
The cut out instructions says, 2 pieces of 24 inch sewn together, so I would presume it’s 48 inch in total length or just under if you’ve joined pieces together, but it does seem rather long. I would try it out with string or something else first before cutting the final bit of fabric for the tie sash.

This is so beautiful thank you Debbie, you are just the best. Could the bottom of the bag be boxed or do you think it would spoil the shape of the bag?
@debbieshore3 жыл бұрын
Difficult to box a round base, you couold leave it square and box it...

can someone verify the cutting measurements of the outer fabric and lining? 14x16 doesn’t seem very big and and if the ruler that measured the loops was in inches, than I counted 16.5” for the length of the bag (left to right) which makes a fatter bag if 14” is the width (top to bottom) of the bag. thanks
