Great tutorial--thank you! I've been quilting and sewing for years, but sometimes I run across a fabulous tutorial like this and think, "Thanks! I'll make 10!" Truly, I have a lot of friends who read with birthdays coming up and this is the perfect personalizing touch for gifting books. Much appreciated!

When I’ve made book covers, I’ve sewn in 2 (yes 2!) book marks which can be further adorned with beads etc. found this very useful.

Perfect timing! My Bible cover is wearing out. I have so many notes in it that I don’t want a new one. I was wondering what to do. Thank you!

Hi Debbie! From the two nutters who met you at the Stitch show on 24.3.23 - we had travelled from Heathrow. Ornella & Sue.

OMG, when I saw your comment I nearly fainted. My sister in laws name was Ornella, she passed almost 12 years ago! My name is Sue and to see those two names together no less gave me goosebumps. I showed it to my niece and she dang near freaked herself!

Would you be at all interested in making a book cover for the steno spiro bound notebook. I use them everyday and not sure how to adapt your pattern maybe with pen pocket, oh a quilted (just one fabric) would be awesome. My sewing club would go nuts

This looks great to make with my daughter who likes notebooks. I've never used fusible fleece before - is it different from wadding (like used in your picnic placemats)?
