Hi lovely. I had all the measurements and it wasn’t till yesterday I measured the zip I thought it was a 6” going to try another but carefully. This is a case of a little knowledge is not good because you rush because you know and only watch some of the bits and fast forwarding the bit you think you know. Last night I cut up pieces measured my zip and ready to go after a coffee and wait for the interfacing to arrive.

Wendy, cut one end shorter than the other end( same side of the zipper) and slowly add the longer side in the zipper pull first than the shorter one in. I hope this helps Check out the new one today. I’m sure you can make many in 1 day with the zipper but easy method Love you Vivian

Wendy sorry I just got this. If you use thick interfacing, you use medium high heat, ( PELLON INTERFACING #809) but iron slowly at the corner then turn to the fabric side and iron the whole thing. Thin interfacing use low heat and do exactly the same Love Vivian

Hi yes sorry I’m back to ask for help 😔. You know when you leave a gap to turn the item the right way around do you cut it at a certain angle? The problem I have is at the cut it frays, also have you ever used invisible thread to sew up? Xxx

Wendy , yes I sew the opening space with blind stitch ( people called different names) if your fabric fray, it’s easy to fix. Cut a small piece of double sided tape and gently place it in between 2 sides. Use the pin and little by little to make sure the fray parts stick into the tape. ( Heat N BOND adhesive work too) if not use glue ( glue stick, fabric glue…) glue both sides together then see how it look. You may or may not have to use blind stitch after ( but I prefer to sew it after though ) Love Don’t ever feel like you’re bothering me, I’m here to help

⁠Thank you I did think of tape or glue but thought maybe not so I’m glad you cleared that up. It’s invisible thread the one I’ve just been using is called Reflections it works great but threading the needle is sometimes a problem because you can’t see it but it helps to have a dark colour underneath where your working.
