This is the most simplified version I’ve seen. And thank you.

I took tailoring in school while ago. Was asked to hem sleeves. I forgot about this but knew about it. My kid right now hears me screaming. Tailors are fucken hot. I’m amped. Thank u I appreciate u and my professor Marcia Roberts at Palomar College of San Marcos. We have a great fashion program.

Easiest way by far. Tried it myself and it works perfectly 👍 Every other video makes it look complicated as hell lol

Another great video Lewis, thank you. I recently sent you a question about how to make a new placket and you thought it was a great idea for a new video. Do you have any idea when you will be able to film it?

Random question but what chalk do you use? Always seam to make perfect marks easily. Been really enjoying your channel for some time. Best of luck with the shop.

I had the same question regarding chalk brand, ingredient, etc. Many aren't of good quality.

Hello, Can you please explain where exactly you are marking the fabric to make the mitre? I ask because when I am sewing the mitre the end result is that the edge that runs parallel to the seam is not dead straight, it turns inside and is at an angle, whereas your mitre, when the sleeve is turned the right side out, your nee mitre is running dead straight with the preceding seam so that it all looks organic. Very impressive. Sometimes I achieve this also but it is a fluke. I have tried a few things but none achive the fluid organic continuation of seam to a straight mitre, one straight line. How do you achieve this? Also, where did you buy your sleeve ironing board? Thank you very much

Hello again, Maybe another equally important question is why are the mitres that I have done running at an angle from the preceding sleeve seam?

This could be a great tutorial if I could see the black jacket on a black background! A different color jacket would be so much more helpful.
