HOW TO SEW A POLO COLLAR | LOVE NOTIONS ARLINGTON SWEATER AND DOCKSIDE POLO MASHUP

Polo Collars are all the rave right now. Shocking I know! I was so excited to mash up the Mens Dockside Polo with the Arlington Sweater, both by Love Notions Sewing Patterns. I paired mine with a mini Sybil Pencil Skirt, also by Love Notions Sewing Patterns.
The Dockside pattern has a very clear video tutorial, but in this video I am also sharing my sewing process.

Great hack Keira! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽. And you know I love hacks! 😉. I have to try this one because it’s so cute on you! 🥰. I like the white serger threads, looks intentional. If it bothers you, maybe a permanent fabric paint over the stitches to make it less noticeable or a contrasting color for a little color blocking. Whatever you decide, this little top is a cutie for sure! Thanks for sharing! 🤗

yep, the white would definitely bother me also. Can you find a fabric marker that may color the thread? It's worth a try before you go through the binding thing.

great tutorial. That fabric looks very difficult to work with. I would be afraid that fabric would get all stretched out trying to put a structured neck line like that on it.

It doesn't stretch out at all actually. It just snags on any rough surface. It has great recovery and the interfacing holds the placket and collar nicely.
