Again, well done Catherine. All useful things. I'm trying to avoid plastic and cellophane as much as I can. I don't like reusable silicone either (muffin cups, sandwich bags, collapsible coffee/tea cups) as there's always an aftertaste. The pencil case is genius.

OMG you read my mind! Except edit out the colorful language 😁 “WTheck can I do to not use so much of this cellophane...” then my brain usually gets stuck on pause and you can hear little birdies. That’s as far as I got. So thank you as always, will have to give this a go. Brilliant as always. 💕-tammy

Great idea the bags . In Germany we have paper sandwich paper and/or bags.. It can then be put in paper recycle.. And we use sandwich Tupperware to.. Which is very flat and fits sandwiches and wraps so they done fall apart. Also tinfoil is better than cellophane .. As it is recyclable!

I loved the video. Gorgeous cases. I"d especially love to make the pretty pencil case for my diabetic daughter who carries her supplies in a not-so-cute store bought case. I did like your sewing machine. I recently bought a Singer Starter sewing machine hoping I could make masks with it but had to return it the next day as I could not figure out the reason why the bobbin thread kept jamming! So I ended up hand sewing about 25 Jesse Masks (complicated!) with interface filter for my US and UK family. It took forever! I would love to know what your recommendations are for a basic very easy sewing machine and perhaps if you could possibly do a video on how to do simple machine troubleshooting. Also what would oil fabric be called in the US. Thank you
@alisonboardmanjackson18854 жыл бұрын
I was having the same problem and after watching tons of videos, I learnt it was because the threads that you have a start of the machine that you lay to the back of the machine were being pulled back into it, so they were all getting jammed. Evelyn wood on KZbin has some great troubleshooting videos. I also watch a lot of the singer videos for help too
@DaintyDiaries4 жыл бұрын
Thread jamming is really common and it’s normally down to the machine not being threaded correctly, for a long time I didn’t have mine threaded correctly and I would get birds nests. I cover all the basics in my sewing course, you’ll find thay on my website. I actually use the basic singer sewing machine and once I mastered the basics I didn’t have any issues with it ❤️❤️❤️
