Yeah I have no clue how you've sewn the zipper to the side. Since you don't show that step. It's magically attached to the side strip and then you sew it on the circle. I only see the flap being sewn 🤷‍♀️

I took it to my sewing machine and did a quick seam twice along the bottom. Nothing special or fancy :-)
