Can anyone just tell me how to normally tie a knot on the thread? I keep struggling with each persons “neat trick” because I have hands on the more masculine side for a female.
@craigwilson8255 Жыл бұрын
Grab your double end of string, make a loop and put the double end through the loop and pull tight. This video is probably easier though...
Grab the end of the 2 strings, hold them together with your thumb and pointer finger in your left hand. Wrap the string around your pointer finger (once) and pull it off of your finger, leaving you with a loop. Put the rest of the END of the string through the loop, and it should make a knot. Do this about 3-4 times. I’m bad at explaining things, hope this helped!

What do you do when you run out of thread and whatever you’re sewing isn’t done yet ? Just start where you left of ? I usually use a machine so it’s just one continuous thread is that the same in hand sewing or as long as you have that knot it doesn’t matter how many times you start over from where You left off ?
