This is such a fun and pretty project! I appreciate you showing both hand and machine stitching. Hand stitching is my fav. When I want to rotary cut tight curves I flip my mat over, then I don't have to be as concerned about gouging the mat.

Love your piece the colours look fabulous. Great tutorial. Clamshells look amazing but they are a pain to baste even with glue basting they still take a fair bit of time.

Omg i want those little crumb offcuts!!! The only quilting i do is with scraps no one else wants - mostly bits given to me by people who sewed masks during the pandemic. Stitching these little bits together became my most helpful therapy back then, and it continues today. My fam can always tell how stressed i am by the number of squares i make lol
