How to Sew easy Christmas Cones by Debbie Shore

These little cones are so simple and quick to make, for Christmas, Easter or just for fun!
Decorate with ribbon, lace, buttons and bows, or the initials of whoever you’re giving them to.

Materials for 4 cones:
12” [31cm] circle of outer fabric [Christmas Critters Poinsettia by Debbie Shore]
12” [31cm] circle of lining
12” [31cm] circle of fusible fleece [H640]
4 pieces of ribbon for the handles each measuring 11” [28cm]
8” [20cm] lengths of ribbon, lace, ric-rac or whatever you have to decorate!

As usual. Great idea. Great instruction. Your videos are primo! You could conceivably sew these by hand, in your lap. Evenings, tv, quiet, relaxing, sewing.

I made these little cones as confetti holders for my wedding, small wedding, but still made 30. Looked lovely hung on twisted willow. needed a project whilst we were all in lockdown! Easy instructions to follow.

If you want to prepare a few at a time you could sew all around the circle with the right sides together, making sure you insert the tapes, and then cut them into quarters

Neat idea. I'd like to make a few of these without glue so I can wash them. My silly thought was to use them to hold my Navajo fry bread tacos. This would keep me from making a mess because I'm a clumsy goof. Maybe I am too hungry.

I use Gutermann HT2. Hot glue would be fine!
