How to Sew Head on Crochet Doll

Learn some of my favorite tips when it comes to attaching doll heads. How to prevent the "flop," how to line it up properly, my favorite tool to use AND a no- sew method!

Best tips I've figured out with a lot of doll patterns, not just these, are: 1) reduce the size of the head 2) enlarge the size of the neck! Don't decrease down to 12sc. I like to only decrease to about 15sc. 3) the second to the last round on the neck, you do a round of back loop only slip stitches, then do a round of sc OVER those slip stitches and through the free loop left over from those sl st.

I appreciate your video, but I can't see what you're doing with the doll. She's off camera most of the time so I can't see how you're sewing on the head. It would be much more helpful if the focus was on the needle.

I have been reading everything you've posted...but when I come to doing the head.....it starts to look like an icecream cone and I do not want to make the head then sew on....you said easy....not yet but thanks again for all the info
