31:40 - sew the TOP of the pocket to the front mesh - otherwise it looks like your pockets are sew in backwards (as in, they go towards your booty) unless you're actively holding them forwards.

Hi! I just printed out the pattern and the waist measurement for the xs is 35” (after subtracting seam allowance) Is that accurate to how you designed the pattern? Just seems big for an xs 😔

add in elastic, then it reduces. it needs to be bigger to fit over your bum :P

I'm alil confused by the liner pattern I purchased from ur site. Panel 9 and 10 are both marked "front liner" I assume 9 is front and 10 is back? Since they both say "cut 2"

Hey I’m trying to follow along but I’m a bit confused at 33:00 where u attach 2 & 7 panel 2 have like angular edges at the top and bottom where as panel 7 doesn’t do you sew to match the angles thingies on panel 2 or do u just sew straight down following panel 7 (meaning there will be like angle flaps sticking out)

Hey are you referring to the outseam? I try to clip the panels together, starting at the top and work my way down. I think I know the angular edge you're talking about (near the bottom of the shorts) and it is for the hem so when the hem is folded inside, it will be flush with the shorts. Hope that helps :)

You are awesome! I’ve been sewing for 50 years and the way you teach and make patterns is great. Just a tip, Put a piece of painters tape ( coloured masking tape) on the wrong side of fabric pieces at the top. You won’t get mixed up again.

Question: I have this same machine and when I start my line of stitching, right before reverse stitching to secure, I have to hold the tails of the upper and lower threads behind the machine. Taut. It looks like when you start your line of stitching you don’t have to. Can you explain how that is?
