Thank you, Lindsey, for tackling the most difficult part of sewing-the fit!. I'd like to suggest that you also add length adjustments to your fit system, such as shoulder to bust apex, shoulder to underbust, shoulder to waist. as someone who has a long torso these are adjustments I always have to make, and if I made this pattern I'm sure I'd need to modify the bodice so that the underbust seam hit me at the right place. also where my waist is usually falls about 2" below what is on a standard pattern. Your videos are great. thanks again for presenting a fitting video--something we all can benefit from!

When doing the Size to Cut for the waist, wouldn't you subtract one inch? For the bust you added a half inch to increase the size, but for the waist you are decreasing the size from 37.5 to 36.5". I am new to sewing so I am most likely confused by the process.

Maybe. This video was a long time ago so I don't remember specifics. But, I'm really bad at simple math so it wouldn't surprise me. :)
