Great tips. Using marks on the finger is my favorite. I can already see using it in other projects. Thank you.

how do i knot the thread? is it doubled? i'm very new to this and i'm so confused 😭😭😭😭
@smarmyclothesАй бұрын
When I knot my thread, I like to double the end of it - just an inch or so. It makes the knot thicker. Otherwise, sometimes the knot can pull through the fabric when you're tightening up the stitches. Alternately, you can quadruple the knot, but I think doubling the end of the thread is easier/faster. Tie twice and I'm done. The thread should not be doubled when sewing.

Looks exactly like slip stitch 🤔

ladder stitch = slip stitch = invisible stitch. They're all different names for the same thing.
