What kinda fabric is usually used to make undies? I don't know its correct name to buy them

It depends on the pattern you are using. I used stretch cotton, 95% cotton / 5% Spandex for this project. There are so many different fabrics you could use. For most patterns you need a fabric that stretches, so it should contain spandex or Lycra in the composition. Just pay attention that not all stretch fabrics are suitable for making underwear.
