Working on a huge batch of knives for the Belville show, 17 knives in total. A lot of handle sculping will be coming soon, so this video was perfect timing! Thanks!

Always learn something watching your videos sir! Glad that fixture is useful for you! Would love a dedicated video on your bedding process... if you haven't done that already. I've had marginal success in the past bedding
@TonySeverioKnives8 ай бұрын
Thanks brother! Yes I thought it was a cool idea. I have a height gauge but for folks that don’t, this is just as good and maybe better for this step. I haven’t done a video on bedding but I will put it in my list. I find that if it is bedded well enough, I don’t need line up pins.

Thank you for the great video. You explain everything so well. I can’t help but subscribe to your channel. One question where can I find more information on how to make that scribe line box from the 1’2’3 blocks?

Thank you, I appreciate it! Check out Red Beard Ops channel. That’s my friend Iames Keatings channel. He did a video on it and now he’s even 3d printing some.

I also like your belt grinder set up! I am guessing you built it. First time seeing one like that!

Great job Tony! I've got one question for you. I occasionally have trouble keeping everything symmetrical from one side to the other. Is there any tips or tricks to keeping it symmetrical from side to side? Thanks

Another great instructional video Mr Tony! My question is what size wheel are you using? I only have a 12” right now and looking to get something smaller. I’ve heard several makers use 5-6 inch wheels for that type of handle but would like your opinion. Thanks
@TonySeverioKnives8 ай бұрын
Thank you! I’m using a 6” in this vid. Sometimes I use a 4” depending on the knife size etc.

That turned out awesome as always 👍 for some reason my dumbass decided it was a good idea to grind and handsand 10 blades at one time so I wouldn't have to do it again for awhile. I don't know what I was thinking at the time but I won't make this mistake again. I'll be needing this video if I ever get these things sanded
