any possible help with randomly dropping connection while still acting like it is connected? i've been using a network bridge for a year or so now and multiple times a day i have to either reset my computer or remake the bridge to get the flow of internet going again. usually it's my host device that loses access to the internet first (while still saying connected). tho, not always. most times turning off the 2nd device or disabling the ethernet will allow it to recover, so it seemed like a priority issue. though even setting wifi metrics priority over ethernet. it still kicks the connection. not alot to go on i know, but i've found little info online about fixing issues with virtual network bridges. if you have any info or links i would appreciate it. honestly i'm probably going to just buy a repeater. as the reason for having a bridge was only because weak wifi on the 2nd device. good video for showing how to set one up!
