Thank you so much for the step by step video. I was intimidated to try and sharpen my mower but it was actually quite easy. The hardest part was taking off the clip to remove the wheel

Shouldn't the Gardena mowers be contact free, and thus silent?
@BillOfAllTrades20163 жыл бұрын
They are “silent” when they are brand new. They say silent but with moving parts there is some noise. To sharpen it you need contact metal to metal. If you can adjust it again after that in a manner that will make it “silent” again then I applaud you. But the fact that this one was making noise is not something I will loose sleep over as it’s performance is still top notch. Thanks for watching. Please like and subscribe. And if you can do better I encourage you to show us a video and share the link here. Take care

Hi I have a problem with my reel mower (Gardena Classic 330). The lower blade does not make contact on the center of the blade roller, but it does make contact only on the sides. If I tight the screws then the center of the lower blade makes contact but the sides have to much friction and the wheels of the mower become stuck when trying to push the mower. So the mower does not work. However I am still able to move the blades manually, so I was wondering if I can fix this kind of problem by following this procedure. Can I?

Hi thanks for the video. What size socket did u use?
@BillOfAllTrades20163 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching. I actually can’t remember the socket size. I don’t specify that in my videos because as I said it differs for every mower. Just grab your socket set snd put one on till it fits. That’s what I do.
