I'm a new player and the last time i've ever touch a mario platformer game was like 20 years ago. This is the first Kaizo level I've ever played on smm2 and it was brutal to me lol especially the hidden block and double shell jump. It took me about 3 hrs to complete this level lol. I know I'm bad but what in trying to say is if I can do it, anyone can and don't give up! Thank you for this tutorial. Without your help, I'll probably spend another 3 hrs on your level. Best wishes to all the newcomers that is trying to complete this.

Why this is so hard to learn… because I’ve trained myself to never let go of the run button since 1986… click! I now understand to shell jump… release the run button and keep holding the jump button… not releasing both buttons and then trying to jump again quickly… man, that’s 38 years of just holding run and tapping jump. Seems like a fine level for conditioning but Panga really doesn't explain how to actually do the shell jump that well. It gets better with the more complicated ones, but he basically just says "you have to find it right, and if you didn't do it right then you'll fail". The closest to actual solid info on how to do it is when he says with the yoshi you should be around 80% full jump height.
