Honestly to me best tutorial from what I've seen. Will be taking my msf course hopefully soon. I've sat rode off about some feet off my friends gsxr 750 by only just letting the clutch off slowly on 1st that's about it, but I do have an understanding from riding dirtbikes very slow lol!

Tremonte have you tried the PUIG TOURING NAKED WINDSCREEN for the Z650? I just bought one yesterday, and I thought it would be cool if you'd review it.

Rev matching is on my list to do. I’ll hopefully get the fairings done this week. I needed more paint than what I expected and am waiting on it to get here.

yes, this is what I was looking for but one question: why my bike has such strong engine braking? as long as I release my throttle at 60km/h at 6st gear, I can feel a strong puling back from engine. ( I just saw a red light ahead and I am slowing down) did I do something wrong? If im driving a car, I let go gas, the car slowly slowing down but motorcycle, if I let go the throttle, I can feel the engine braking pulling me back, I dont even need to use brakes at 60km/h to slow down, or should I use clutch at 60km/h and all the way to a complete stop? then gearing down to 1st gear???? I need your advise so bad
@Tremonte5 жыл бұрын
It's normal on newer bikes. The strong engine braking is a side effect of the more strict emission requirements.

When down shifting, how far apart can they be, can you drop from 3rd to 4th in seconds or do you have to give it time?
@Tremonte4 жыл бұрын
You can down shift as quickly as necessary to avoid stalling and assist in braking. You just need to learn the RPM range of the bike you are riding to avoid exceeding the redline.

Can anyone help me .. so I have the Kawasaki 2020 400 Ninja I have been having problems trying to figure out what gear to Cruise in ..so when I shift I normally shit at about 3-4 rmp from 1st gear all the way to 6th and just cruise that out until I come to a stop sign or stoplight is that safe for the bike..... Also I noticed when I ride in high RPMs the bike gets very hot how to prevent that.?

Can you make a vid where I can see what your other hand is doing on the throttle while you using the clutch... I could see what you other hand was doing...camera was too high
