Thank you for this video. Wish I had it months ago when I did my first test cake shipping to my sister in law. The cake taste great, but it took an extra 2 days for her to receive it and the cake had shifted even though I had used shrink wrap. I don't think that the post office paid attention to the fragile sticker. LOL! I am going to try again and sign up to use Etsy. I have gotten a lot of people who wanted cakes shipped but I was too scared. You just gave me a bit more confidence! Thank you so much!

Love it. Actually I shipped 2 cakes same size box. Same technique. Arrived perfect. I just shipped ups. Arrived in 3 days. A lemon lb with lemon glaze. & a Carmel. Except I put the Carmel Glaze in 5oz cups. Wrapped securely in plastic wrap. Thank you. Worked for me. I did order the ice packs. But didn't use.

Freezing the cake does that do anything to the texture once the client receives. I just started shipping my #OriginalPineapplePoundCakeCornbread & this information is so helpful....blessings
