those who using the new s24 the gamut setting button is the square on bottom left it’s actually WB button and you need to change WB mode to manual to access the gamut list.

I would love to hear your opinion doing this on the Pixel 8 Pro. I've been using the app to record basketball games at 4k HLG 10-bit video at 60fps to an external Samsung T9 SSD. But the HLG vs Auto HLG look very different. Also changing manual white balance and exposure can mess with the auto HDR processing. Because of these questions, i would love a more experienced person giving their opinion on how best to leverage the app and hardware.

Hello my friend, I'm from Brazil, I learned a lot from your MCpro24fps videos, I use the S23 plus, but it seems that even after deactivating the Sharpness it is still present, and the stabilization doesn't work, I hope that in the future they will be able to implement this, a hug and thank you through the videos.

Depends on device to device. I m using one plus 9pro and disabling sharpness makes videos looks very very soft. My best combination - rec.2020, m-flog, +2upper and lower bound, hevc 10bit 100 mbps, sharpness disable, noise disable, EOTF HLG/BT.2020, color range full. And false color.

good match, rec2020 + cineon film?
@RJBaculo11 ай бұрын
Probably not the most suitable curve for most phones. According to the mcpro24fps documentation "Due to lowering of the white point [Cineon Film gamma curve] can lead to clipping artifacts on most mobile devices."

Am a fan of mcpro but I don't like how the skin tones comes out. Anyways to fix that? Please help
@RJBaculo2 ай бұрын
It seems a few people have reported that mcpro tends to have a warmer tint. You might have to try experimenting with their other Log gamma curves and do a bit of color grading work in post production.

Friend, could you please tell me if the mcpro24fps app accepts an external microphone? And what audio quality do you recommend for recording concerts? Default to 192kbps or 320kbps? and video at how many mbps, 50 bits by default or 100 mbps? thank you so much...
@RJBaculo5 ай бұрын
Hello friend, yes mcpro24fps accepts external mics. If you're doing a concert where audio is super important, do 320kbps and might as well do 100mbps (thats what iu use) Happy filming!

Thank you for this video. What about "display lut" when filming in 10 bit?
@RJBaculo7 ай бұрын
mcpro24fps now allows you to export any conversion LUT from within the app including when shooting 10-bit. Here's a video where I show you how to do it: kzbin.info/www/bejne/a6ebiWl8bdyGrc0si=TLVXuU9EnojvEmO1
@arnauldbordes7 ай бұрын

Good video , is there another way to grade the video by using the phone ? thanks
@RJBaculo11 ай бұрын
Most good phone editing apps like VN Editor and CapCut have some limited color grading controls. Lumafusion app has more professional controls to color grade and the dedicated color grading VideoLUT has very powerful tools for color grading on your phone (and even saving and creating your own luts/looks)

I have iqoo7 5g with sd 870 but there is no color depth option
@RJBaculo7 ай бұрын
I was looking at the specs of the iqoo 7 and it shows it can definitely display 10bit colors (HDR+) but couldnt find if it could record 10 bit video. Snapdragon 870 is still a pretty recent chipset, its odd that it wouldnt have 10bit support.

any recommendation for which log combination for S22 Ultra? so far I have no luck in low lights or high contrast. I keep getting some artifacts in midtones and shadows.
@RJBaculo7 ай бұрын
Log in general has never really been good for low lighting situations (brings out noise in the shadows more than rec.709). If I were to suggest a log profile, i would go with something minimal like the mLog60% and then 10-bit color depth to give you more dynamic range.

I usually use mSlog 92% which is the equivalent of SLog2 on Sony cameras. mSlog 100% can be a little too extreme for me. But yes you're also correct, it can depend on your lighting/exposure conditions.
