I went from making 2 of 20 shots to 11 of 20. thanks man gave me a passion for basketball. I can make them 3 pointers like a beast now. 🏀🥇

More tips- Imagine a red dot on the middle of the rim, concentrate on your set point, it’s always the same shooting form nothing changes, for the arc , you want to shoot straight not too much arc. Watch Kobe arc it wasn’t that much. I am a great shooter and That’s what I think when I shoot. Set point and arc. Set point it’s where you start your shot, everybody has a different one, Larry bird was on the side, Damian lillard in front of the face, so it’s whatever you feel comfortable, elbow should point towards the rim, wrist should be bend all the way back. Always do what’s comfortable for you don’t force a shot mechanic that doesn’t feel comfortable. But the most important be consistent with your form.

When transitioning the ball into your shooting hand off the dribble or a catch, you should learn to quickly adjust the ball so the grooves are perpendicular to your hand. Have a set point preferably above eye level, even one motion shooters have a set point. Snapping your wrist at the top of your arm extension is important for the ball to rotate. I find it helpful to look up and follow the ball’s path after release to see if I’m putting enough height on the ball.
