One tip that helped me a lot stay low like your driving and than one two footwork than shoot elevate up and shoot

@@justinwright3977 Staying low, then exploding high is hard for physically weaker guys, though. More distance to move your body fast vertically. It requires more energy. Especially considering after getting the hang of it, one'd try to do it many times in a game. Will be exhausted as the game goes by.

Yo just a tip for anybody watching, you wanna shoot in one fluid motion instead of pulling up at the 90 degree angle and jump and shoot, you wanna shoot as you’re going up. It gives you more power and does take some time adjusting to but it’s worth it

Was having trouble collecting to the setpoint until I saw that collecting the ball with the shooting hand is first done overhand, while collecting with the non-shooting hand is first done underhand. A much more natural transition to the set point.

King Sagio13 I like to just shoot with one hand and really perfect my follow through position. It’s all about muscle memory and you should fix that by maybe shooting however many shots a day or week using the best form you can.

At 6'4" I'm constantly using that outside sweep on my lift up when I go for midrange. On shorter guys in pick up games, they can't seem to understand that slapping either hand on the shot is a FOUL

You should not shoot from the left and that’s a hesi pull up not a dribble pullup. Different move

How would this work for a small guard?? Cuz i love pull-ups from the free throw line but I cant do them when I'm not kinda open. Contested pull-ups for me as a small guard are a guaranteed block or brick. Sorry for making this big😅

I was the worst in my year at basketball when I was in year 7 bcs that’s when I started playing. I was grinding basketball the whole year then I made the div 1 year 8 team. I am the worst on that team but I’ve been practicing while in quarantine way more than anybody. Ima be the best on the team next year

i use running jumpers and fadeaway type things to try to score on my brother who’s taller than me, but i’ve always been slow because i can’t get the ball correctly into my hands. I hope this helps

U guys do a great job however, I’m not sure i agree with the footwork unless we are referencing a one dribble pull up (mostly off the pump). If so i would suggest a split on the catch and I would also emphasize getting on your toes to stop u. I think u have to have footwork that can compliment either way u are going, stop on the inside leg, outside leg or quick hop to square your shoulders. The defender shouldn’t be able to time u cuz u have different footwork. My 2 cents
