Put the cable guard slider on the other side of the cable guard for clearance. Get a finger sling and don't flip your bow backwards.
@andrewmilleroutdoors2 ай бұрын
Thanks for the tip and I 100% understand what your saying. The flip happens because I don’t keep my fingers on the front of the riser or very loosely. And a NASP bow is kinda top heavy so it naturally moves like that. I just try to let the bow do what it wants instead of putting my own input on it. I get a ton of people ask about that!

What was your score!?

Just got a genesis mini and every shot is point right. Vanes go quite a bit left. Used several different arrows (weights).

If your shooting it with fingers you will have some weird impacts. There are ways to make them fly better but if there in a good group me personally I wouldn’t worry too much about it. Just depends on the grouping.

Is it ok if the string is on the side of my nose when I anchor? Because in our district they say to place the string on the tip of the nose, and it’s hard for me to do that.
@andrewmilleroutdoors Жыл бұрын
I do the same thing you do. I think it’s less about where you anchor as long as it’s the same place each shot. So as long as it’s comfy and consistent do what works for you. Me for example is middle finger in the corner of my mouth string is touching the side of my nose and the odd color fletch is touching the bottom of my nose. Idk if I explained that last part good if you want I can make a short on it.

Do you have to tune the cam by twisting the cable yoke for the idler wheel leaning? And do one have to twist the buss cable to tune the cam timing for different archers?
@andrewmilleroutdoors Жыл бұрын
Not on these bows. There isn’t a set draw length so you don’t have to worry about timing. I’ve never thought about the idler wheel leaning before. I don’t think that would be much of an issue because I don’t know how to move it. I might look into that in the future tho. Good questions.

What is allowed on the string were the arrow is nocked?
@andrewmilleroutdoors4 ай бұрын
I’m not really sure how to answer that. Are you talking about the No glove thingy?

Where do you aim?
@andrewmilleroutdoors8 ай бұрын
It changes depending on the person, but I usually aim left of the 10 ring on the 8 ring.

I have noticed me and my son shoot better with two finger under 1 over . The arrow seems to fly straighter and leave the bow cleaner.
@andrewmilleroutdoors Жыл бұрын
I have tried that and had similar results but it changed my aim and anchor too much for being middle of the season, but I may try it again. Good luck this upcoming season!

You SHOULD NOT be teaching archery.

Wow. You have no idea what you are doing. And YOU are training people? Jesus Christ.
