In today's video we're going to teach you how to shoot like James Harden. Now James Harden is one of the best shooters in the NBA and he has some super optimized shooting form and mechanics. So today we're going to chop it up, put his shooting form in slow motion, and really analyze what makes his shot so effective. Then it's up to you to pick a couple shooting form keys to try to add to your own jump shot. Many times just one or two tips can drastically increase your shooting percentage.

A good backspin also helps to keep the balls flight straight. From distance they can easily curve off and miss if there isn't enough spin.

One thing that always confuses me is how does a delayed set point maximise power on your shot? When you delay your set point you basically release the ball when your body is moving at a slower velocity upward (please correct me if I am wrong). I experimented myself and found it harder to get enough power into my shot with a delayed set point. But I soon realize almost every nba player has a delayed set point. Is there any tricks or tips behind that?
