I noticed all this too. but it definetley isn't receding anymore. any player especially shooters coming back from injury will have a tough time recovering their skills. right now it seems he has reverted to his old form slightly. his feet as a little closer together and toes are more turned rather than pointing to the rim and because of that his 3 percentage is looking really good. mid range has gotten even more deadlier imo

The one problem that affects some players is that when they bring the ball up on the left and transfer it to right (right -handed shooter), it encourages a flying right elbow. Your arm naturally wants to hang down next to the edge of your right leg. Standing slightly open to eliminate tension in the right shoulder, then bringing the ball straight up encourages the ball reaching the set point without any rotation (twisting) of the right arm, which requires additional timing. Your arm ends up under the ball naturally and simply extending your arm from the perpendicular position with the upward movement of your legs, either in a one motion or two motion action, is about as simple and repeatable as you can make a shot. The rest of Kyrie's shot is spot on and explained perfectly by Collin.

The one motion shot part was so misleading, Kyrie shoots on the way down all the time, turning his shot into a two motion shot. He cherry picked the clips to straight pull ups and catch and shoot instead of step backs or fadeaways. It's funny because Kyrie is on eof the few players under 6'6" who is actually capable of shooting a Kobe type 2 motion fadeaway.

As long as you swing your foot to get you at the angle where if you are right handed, your right knee is facing the rim. It's better if you don't do this, but if you need to make sure to swing your foot
