Dude I've been using your training pack for the last 6 months without realising it was yours! I run through the shots every time I boot up the game, and it has made such a massive difference to my shooting ability. I've always struggled with hitting the ball on target, and I'm infamous amongst my friends for always *just* missing the goal - going off the post - even bouncing off two posts then back out again. I'm still working on it, but I'm not exaggerating when I say that I attribute the majority of my improvement the past 6 months to your Power and Accuracy Training Pack!

Insanely in-depth while keeping it as simple as possible, this just became the number one video to watch for ranking up (other than rotation and positioning stuff) as the most important thing in this game is still to just bang the ball as hard as you can, not to do a quad flip reset into a musty triple touch, madly educational, ty for the content Edit: forgot to mention, props for the quality and awesome editing too

Hey bro, first time viewer and subscribed! this content is great it is all very simple (I'm a older bloke than most of the people that play RL) so this was an amazing reminder about where power comes from and how to obtain straight line accuracy. Your way of using "Ball, Net, Ball" is going to be a game changer as I have struggled with getting the accuracy of mybplacements but you're 100% right in saying it's all about the straight line it comes off your car and this is such a great way to look at where the Ball is going to actually go by visualising that straight line while doing Ball, Net, Ball... will try tonight.... looking forward to it.... I look forward to watching your content.

Thanks for the cool video! As both an engineer and a soccer fan I have two things to add: 1) it's spelled "volleys" not "vollies" 2) your concept of "straight line mass" already exists in the world of mechanics: its called momentum which is the product of mass and velocity. Using a vector for the velocity variable also accounts for the direction in every axis
@itbecaleb_rl77763 жыл бұрын
I spelled it wrong! AHHHH!! ON ME VIRGE 😭

@LaurentStanevich3 жыл бұрын
This is a really solid and helpful video. One small point, though (although it may be a little late, since you seem to already be using it in your training packages)...what you're calling "straight-line _mass_ " is actually much closer to a "straight-line _force_ ", since you're really talking about the combination of the car's mass _and_ acceleration. (I know this can come across as a snorky comment, but there are a good number of people here talking about how this video helps them "understand the physics" of what's going on. It's a great video, and it does clarify the underlying RL "physics", but it kind of does people a disservice to use words like "mass" that mean _one_ thing here, but really mean something else completely when they're talking to anyone else with a rudimentary understanding of physics.)

Thanks Virge. You are pointing out what I think Is a key factor in accuracy in general. Looking where you want to go is something used in driver training as a lot of drivers that have trouble tend to focus on the foreground more and can't look where they want to be going and at a good distance.

One more tip for half vollies is you want to tip the nose of your car up just a bit and dodge forward into the ball for most shots. Otherwise a lot of the time you'll end up shooting the ball into the cross bar a lot especially if it's on a hard bounce
